Cameron’s passion for tennis began at a young age, where he quickly excelled and developed a deep love for the game. His drive led him to compete at a high level, eventually earning a Division 1 scholarship in the NCAA. Alongside his academic journey, Cameron’s interest in education grew, leading to a Ph.D. in the field. This unique blend of competitive experience and academic insight shaped his approach to coaching, where he combines technical expertise with an understanding of cognitive development.
Obtained a Division 1 scholarship to American University (1992-1994).
Coached and toured with two separate youth teams to Europe (1994-1995).
Reached ITF ranking #195 in over 45 doubles in the world (2020).
Currently ranked #12 in Canada over 50 singles and #16 in doubles
Coached over 500 kids in tennis development throughout my career.
Coach and organizer of a U10 National Capital Region selection team for the
Eastern Canadian Championship (2023).
Volunteer board member at both the NCTA and OTA.
Current Chair of Junior Development at the National Capital Tennis Association (NCTA)
